Used for a wide range of applications ranging from quenching of forgings of low-alloy and plain carbon steels for automobiles such as crankshafts, connecting rods, camshafts etc., steel castings, bars and sections of low-alloy carbon steels, hardening of hand tools, spanners, wrenches, tongs, high-pressure cylinders, seamless tubes and carburised or carbo-nitrided small parts.
